Op3n your Mind

“There is one thing you have got to learn about our movement. Three people are better than no people.”

-Fannie Lou Hamer

Greetings Afrikan family across the Diaspora! I speak with you in good health, great spirits and with liberation on my mind. I hope all is going well with you and yours, and that you are living in peace, love, and harmony with your higher self!

I Started working at a Afrikan apparel/art store that recently opened in my area, and I must say, the potential of the store is sky high, (that is of course, barring the impending staged economic collapse of the American dollar, which will in turn be replaced by the Amero…which will replace the Mexican Peso and Canadian Dollar as well because all three nations have lost their sovereignty due to the formation of the North American Union by the neo-Nazi Illuminati, or ruling elite as a stepping stone towards a global one-world government.) so I’m pretty excited about that. It’s a beautiful thing to actually have the opportunity to present our people with aspects of our Afrikan culture and observe their reactions to things…eerily familiar to the inner self, which is evident by the sense of excitement and curiosity generated from just a few words about what “this” or “that” is…Just beautiful… We all need take the time to get back to ourselves…our roots, our Afrikanness; physically, mentally, spiritually, and above all, collectively! That’s what the movement is really about, bringing about a new paradigm, a progressive change in consciousness for the benefit of Afrikan people across the Diaspora! That Revolutionary love!

But I’ll keep this week’s message brief, for I also have a question for anyone willing to answer!

As I stated earlier, the store in which I am working has only been in business for about three weeks, and I want to bring in some more things to promote collective growth amidst our people! I have some ideas of what I want to bring in, but I figured I should ask the people as well!! so In your comments, please leave any suggestions you think we should consider to bring into the store, and why!

Thanks! and Hotep!

“The soul is made for action, and cannot rest till it be employed. Idleness is its rust. Unless it will up and think and taste and see, all is in vain.”

-Robert Townsend

Hotep family across the Afrikan Diaspora! I hope all is well with you and that you are finding/living truth in everything you seek! I hope love is pulsating through your consciousness, you know what I’m talking about! That revolutionary indigo soul love!

Recently, I’ve felt as if my creative juices have been on a temporary hiatus… I haven’t written any new poetry… or any essays in the last two weeks or so… which is very uncharacteristic of me. But I know the Amadlozi will speak more truth through me when necessary…I have however kept up on my reading (Deep Star Beginnings: The Genesis of African Science and Technology by Charles Finch, and Ready for Revolution by Kwame Ture… and went and checked out an audio book entitled The Translator: A Tribesman’s Memoir of Darfur  by Daoud Hari, a Zaghawa translator from Darfur. Its amazing thus far! Darfur is not a thing of the past, and that is something that we need to realize! Always make certain to stay abreast on what’s going on within our communities across the world! And read, read, read!!! Here are the four R’s for building Afrikan consciousness:

 Read…Research…Redistribute…Then repeat.

We must make the pursuit of knowledge popular again amidst our Afrikan youth! We have to have book clubs and study groups that instill self-respect, self-love, community love, community improvement, and of course, Pan-Afrikan philosophy. We must refresh ourselves with truth of Sankofa; because the state of our youth will always dictate the direction of our movement, and therefore by necessity, it is vital that the mindsets of our collective youth are at the forefront of our concerns! You can never be too young to lead a movement! Too brothas and sistahs out there that come across this post; if you haven’t already, it is time to take action! There are plenty of sources out there for us to grab from in order to formulate these book clubs/ study groups!! All we need is the people! On Tell-LIE-vision all we see are comedic and/or ignorant interpretations of who we are (with the exception of very few shows), for the sole purpose of keeping us entertained and benighted… not educated… not informed on the issues facing our communities and how to solve them…but entertained… Tell-LIE-vision professes nothing short of overt exploitations and covert oppressive ideals of and towards our Afrikan people via promoting self-hate ideals, and stressing individual fame instead of community gain…ultimately for the goal of keeping us separated and ignorant of what we really need to be doing in order to get back to our roots, our afrikanness…Brothas and sistahs… its time to take hold of our own destiny reject the European paradigm totally and unequivocally, and it must start with our youth! Each one teach one, then teach someone else! We have got to put the remote control down and let go of the cauldron of elementary lyrical content known as gansgta rap/mainstream rap! We need to support artists who consistently make a conscious effort to put out positive music only and the same goes for any other professional realm; if you are not re-investing in the Afrikan community or working towards the improvement of the Afrikan community, then you will no longer be privy to reaping benefits off of our back…at all.

Spread the message Afrikan people, it’s time to awaken and rekindle our fire…time to take out our drums and play…play…play… as we collectively build our mind, body and spirit. It is time to awaken and reclaim who and what we are…because we represent the last universal axiom; only temporarily captivated by this earthly ignorant bliss.

Know whats going on!

“You’re not to be so blind with patriotism that you can’t face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.”

-El Hajj Malik El Shabazz (Malcolm X)

Hotep brothers and sisters throughout the world! I hope you have found, and continue to strive for peace, love, unity, and balance in your lives! Greetings and thanks to the Amadlozi (Zulu for “The Desired One’s) as always…Ase.

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to come across the new Zeitgeist documentary entitled “Zeitgeist Addendum.” Great stuff. This is the 3rd documentary done by these guys (“Zeitgeist” and “Esoteric Agenda”), and I definitley reccommend that you watch them when you get the chance! You can find them on Google Video, Veoh, and parts of it on Youtube. I’m also going to post “Zeitgeist Addendum” at the bottom of this post for your enjoyment :).

To make a long story relativley short; we have got to stop supporting the system that has oppressed, and continues to opress us. Humanity is to live in harmonious unity with the each other and the earth, but here in Amerikkka and other parts of the world; due to among other things the physcological/cultural genocide known as the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade, the implementation and perpetuation of the white superiority/everyone else inferiority complex, capitalism, and materialism… not only our our Afrikan kin across the Diaspora still enslaved (weather it be physically, mentally or both)…but the majority of the worlds population is as well!  We have to take back what is rightfully ours… our minds and our lives!

After watching “Zeitgeist Addendum,” I posted a comment on facebook in which it states “Don’t support the system…Boycott money :),” to spark some conversation amidst myself and and some of my friends…and some people took heavy offense to that statement. Now no disrespect to any of my friends in which I’ve previously mentioned…but their responses we’re exactly that of a mainstream-media oriented, group think type of ideology. This monetary system was built to fail! Because this is what a central bank is and how a central bank works with the fractional reserve system:
